MONTHLY NOTES FROM KES
Hey gang,
I always kick these off with a weather update—so here it is: damn it got cold and dark fast.
If you’re freezing, don’t forget—all memberships include access to the saunas. Book in, warm up, and recover right.
We’ve had some awesome stuff go down lately that deserves a shoutout.
Big congrats to everyone who took part in Rumble in the Jungle—epic turnout and energy.
Extra shoutout to our Rumble winners: Matty, Sarah, and Liz—you three crushed it.
Massive props to Hannah B for smashing the Noosa Marathon and placing 3rd overall and 1st in her age group.
And shoutout to Holy Austin, and Jasper for conquering triathlons—legends.
I know I’ve only scratched the surface here—there’s a whole crew of you who’ve smashed out marathons, triathlons, and events lately. Even if your name’s not up here, know that we see it, we’re proud, and we’re cheering you on.
We’ve kicked off our H-Word Simulation Program, and it’s been a hit. The sign-up sheet’s on the back of the office door—jump in as a solo or duo. If you want to go duo but don’t have a partner, just pop your name in the column and we’ll team you up. You can still join the final Race Simulation, even if you haven’t done the lead-up classes.
Speaking of—which brings me to Sunday, June 29th. We’ll be running our H-Word Event right here in the studio. If you’re not competing, come down anyway. We’d love to see the crew show up to cheer, support, and vibe. It’s going to be a fun one.
Programming-wise, I’m shifting Mon–Fri to a bit more of a choose-your-own-adventure style—especially since Mon–Wed has been so popular. And for all the non-runners: you can start celebrating now 😏
We’re also working on a fun little Winter Challenge for those sticking around (and not jetting off overseas). I reckon half of you rinsed the Easter/Anzac break anyway and are officially holidayed out.
On the recovery front—we ran a breathwork class last week with Holly from We Are Holistics. The feedback was awesome. If that’s something you’d like to see more regularly—or if you’ve got ideas for workshops or special classes—hit us up at info@undercardboxing.com and let us know.
As always, if you're low on motivation or need a bit of direction, hit us up. We're here to help—not just scream at you to run faster or lift heavier.
Love you all,
Kes
