FIRST TIME HITTERs

Choose your starting point, Bag or Floor

5 minutes before class, we are going to introduce you to the basic fundamentals. We will break down the world renowned number system in boxing, and have you fluent in no time.

This includes a run down of the 6 punches you will be throwing in each class, an overall breakdown of the class structure and what to expect under the orange lights. We will also explain the safety aspects of the equipment, and how to use them to get the most out of each session.

THE WARM UP

You will be speaking our language in no time. With the lights dimmed, tunes cranking, the heart will be pumping until the body is warm.

THE BAG

Time to turn the heat up with 3 rounds back to back on the aqua training bag. 

Here, you will be taken through a full length boxing round made up of combinations that your instructor will coach you through.

THE SWITCH

As swiftly as a formula one pit crew change it up, you will unstrap your gloves and move to the floor, ready to feel the burn.

THE FLOOR

As soon as you hit your floor station, take a few deep breaths  cause it’s about to get heavy!

Here, you will run and lift until the whole body is drippin’.


THE FINISHER - BAG

Strap up again and get ready to let your fists do the talking.

Fuelled by the fire and encouraged by the tunes, we will finish you off with 2 feast rounds on the bag. 

Throwing hands until there’s nothing left in the tank.


THE FINISHER - FLOOR

In the words of Tupac, “I’m not a perfectionist, but still I seek perfection”, and with the final 2 rounds on the floor, we will attack the whole body until the burn sits deep.
